Caption: Making a Point. A posh London neighborhood is using spikes to discourage sleeping homeless people. Bloody hell! Now they want to impale us! Spikes aren't necessarily a bad idea if we use them in the right places. Every lot available for the new Wal-mart has these darn things in it. I dunno. These spikes just showed up on all the streets downtown, and cars can't get through! Of course, when earth is no longer habitable and all of humanity is homeless, we may find something familiar ... That one has a good atmosphere, but ... those spikes again! It's almost as if we aren't wanted.

"And if I do land some soul-sucking crap work, all the wealth I create will go to some selfish dipstick making 200 times more than me." "Honestly, why bother? Count me out! Or in, as the case may be. Caption: Slowpoke. Obama cuts deal to live in tent. In a historic bipartisan compromise, President Obama has agreed to move into a tent on the White House lawn while senior GOP lawmakers occupy the White House. Base Camp One. "Speaking earlier at a press conference, the President sounded triumphant." I have always said the democratic party is a big tent, and now I'm putting that belief into practice. This is what happens when Congress works together for the good of the country! "Obama's new quarters will consist of a four-person tent for sleeping, and an oval-shaped tent for working. Now I can show my solidarity with America's growing population of canvas home-dwellers. Two Months Later. In order to cut the tent expenses from the federal budget, I've agreed to live in a box in the Nevada desert. Victory again!

Caption: Beneath the surface. What's going on with deep-water drilling? More than a year after the Macondo Will disaster, deep-water drilling permits are just beginning to trickle in. And the Obama administration can't seem to win. Why can't you stop the flow? BP Oil Spill. Why'd you stop the flow? Drilling permits. They're being blamed for high prices at the pump. The is is the same administration that proposed an expansion of offshore drilling just weeks before Macondo. Maybe part of the problem is we use 20% of the world's energy resources while having only 5% of the world's population. Gas! Gas! Gas! Gas! And whose fault is it really? The government charged with regulating industry and protecting the environment? Or the industry which assured us this couldn't happen? Meanwhile the players involved in Macondo are busy pointing fingers. Reminding us of our most plentiful natural resource.
